Blues remain 8/11 to gain automatic or promotion via the Play-Offs to the Premier League despite last week’s dramatic loss to Preston North End. Alex McLeish’ side are 15/8 to get all three points at the Madejski Stadium tomorrow with Reading 6/5 favourites and the draw at 12/5.

We all know that promotion remains in Blues hands and they must do so without combative midfielder Lee Bowyer subject to surely the most frivolous appeal in the history of the FA earlier in the week. I wonder how long it took the FA regulatory commission to throw out the appeals of Bowyer and his partner-in-crime Lee Williamson of Preston mid-week?
