Godolphin have supplemented Farhh for Saturday's Eclipse Stakes at Sandown. The four-year-old was a strong third in the Prince of Wales's Stakes at Royal Ascot despite being a relatively inexperienced runner.
Farhh (4/1 To Win The Coral Eclipse) was then making the step up out of handicaps into Group One company and finished third behind the great So You Think (4/5 To Win The Coral Eclipse) and Carlton House in a performance strong enough for connections to think he can go one further than a place next time out.
Godolphin will two more representatives on Saturday, Dubai World Cup winner Monterosso (20/1 To Win The Coral Eclipse), and City Style (50/1) , both trained by Mahmood Al Zarooni. If Mikael Barzalona can find the form on Monterosso he found on World Cup night, he could trouble the places at a big price.
The field of 15 runners will be made up by a number of top class competitors, with Aidan O'Brien sending four to post, including the aforementioned So You Think, as well as Daddy Long Legs (40/1 To Win The Coral Eclipse), with Windsor Palace and Robin Hood completing his representation.
John Gosden will saddle 2011 King George winner Nathanial (7/1 To Win The Coral Eclipse), but Frankel was taken out, with Sir Henry Cecil instead keeping multiple Group One winner Twice over in the running.
