Following Wednesday's announcement by Arsenal striker Robin van Persie that he won't be extending his contract at the club, speculation has heightened as to the Dutchman's next club.
Van Persie still has a year to run on his contract but it is widely expected that he will leave in the summer transfer window as that will enable Arsenal to attain a fee for their star man and avoid him leaving on a free or a Bosman when his contract expires. (Van Persie 11/4 Still At Arsenal on 1st September).
Van Persie said: "I've thought long and hard about it, but I have decided not to extend my contract. Out of my huge respect for Mr Wenger, the players and the fans I don't want to go into any details, but unfortunately in this meeting it has again become clear to me that we in many aspects disagree on the way Arsenal FC should move forward.
Manchester City (4/7 Van Persie's Next Club) are at the front of the queue for Van Persie's signature, but the former Feyenoord man has his options open with most of Europe's top clubs hoping to pick up a top quality player for a bargain-basement price.
Juventus (9/2 Van Persie's Next Club) are thought to have made a bid for Van Persie this week, believed to be in the region of £8m, however it is thought Arsenal will hold out for a bid closer to £20m before losing their man.
A move to Spain is thought to be unlikely for Van Persie but there is a possibility France's cash-rich Paris Saint-Germain (16/1 Van Persie's Next Club) could make a move for him. PSG have just signed Ezekiel Lavezzi from Napoli, and are fancied by some to splash the cash once more to secure Van Persie.
