Super Spain hit Poles for six

World Cup joint favourites Spain (4/1 with Stan James) served a warning to the rest of the teams competing in South Africa with a 6-0 demolition job on Poland in their final warm-up game on Tuesday.
Liverpool striker Fernando Torres, a 14/1 shot to win the Golden Boot, made a goalscoring return for the European champions as well, coming off the bench with 24 minutes to go and showing no ill-effects from the knee injury that has kept him on the sidelines for the past few months.
David Silva and David Villa put Vicente Del Bosque's side 2-0 up at the break before a deflected Xabi Alonso effort extended their advantage.
Barcelona target Cesc Fabregas struck a fourth before Torres and Pedro sealed an emphatic win late on to ensure Spain head into football's biggest showpiece in the best possible form.
The only downside for the Group H favourites was an injury to Andres Iniesta, who limped off with a thigh strain and the key man may now be doubtful for their opening clash against Switzerland on June 16.
