Can Changingoftheguard be stopped in the Ebor?

The Totesport Ebor handicap is one of the most valuable and prestigious handicaps on the racing calendar and this afternoon sees 20 runners going to post for the 2009 renewal.

The last three-year-old to win the race was Mediterranean back in 2001 trained by Aidan O'Brien, and the Ballydoyle maestro will saddle today's short-priced favourite in Changingoftheguard who many believe will become superior to a handicapper in time.

The times were lightening fast on the Knavesmire yesterday and the executive are sure to have had the watering cans out yesterday.

The Gimcrack and Lonsdale Cup are the two Group races on another cracking card but, having come so close to lowering the colours of Sea The Stars in the big race yesterday, who can stop the Changingoftheguard and O'Brien in the Ebor?
