Evans cut in price as Contador picks up a ban
Australian Cadel Evans has been cut to 15/8 to retain the Tour De France title he won in 2011 following the two year suspension handed to rival Alberto Contador. The Court of Arbitration for Sport has banned Alberto Contador for two years for doping. He has also been stripped of his 2010 Tour de France victory and will miss this year's Tour and the Olympics.
Contador is one of only five cyclists to win the three Grand Tours - the Tour de France, the Giro and the Spanish Vuelta. A winner of the Tour in 2007 and 2009, he becomes only the second cyclist to lose his title for doping, after American Floyd Landis tested positive for testosterone in 2006.

Britain’s Bradley Wiggins has also been cut and is now 6/1 from 14/1 who will want to improve on his fourth place in the 2009 Tour which is the highest ever finish by a British rider. He will also want to put behind him last year’s Tour when he quite literally crashed out in the 7th stage and ended up with a broken collarbone.
Denis Menchov (7/1 to win the Tour De France) has also been cut and having joined a new team this year he will be aiming to improve on his third place finish in the 2010 Tour. He was promoted up to second following Contador being stripped of the title.
