2010 Aon Chase winner Tricky Trickster is the 12/1 market leader with Stan James for the 2010 John Smith's Grand National following the announcement of the weights earlier today. Newbury runner up and 2009 Irish Grand National winner Niche Market is next in at 14/1 with Big Fella Thanks and Possol both 16/1.
Irish trained horses have won six of the last eleven renewals but Stan James are betting 3/1 that the Irish prevail in 2010. Paul Nicholls has another strong hand in the race and we bet 6/1 that the Master of Ditcheat breaks his National duck, and 10/1 that Willie Mullins wins a second National with David Pipe also 10/1 to supplement Comply Or Die's 2008 Aintree success.
Grand National specials from Stan James:
- An Irish trained winner 3/1
- A Paul Nicholls trained winner 6/1
- A David Pipe trained winner 10/1
- A Willie Mullins trained winner 10/1
