It’s safe to say the drama we all enjoyed at the start of the World Cup is not calming down – wahoo! We were treated to an epic round of Semi-Finals, or at least one epic Semi-Final. But it had enough epic-ness to cover both games!

With Froome and Cavendish both licking their wounds after nasty crashes in the Tour de France, we thought we’d take a look back at some of the big smashes, crashes and pile ups.

We’re heading into the sixth stage of the Tour de France with a 194km ride from Arras to Reims. It’s a relatively flat stage before the remaining riders head into the mountains (which sounds pretty ominous as well as tricky) and with the shocks we’ve already seen along the way after the grand depart in Yorkshire who knows what might happen.

Without the daily World Cup matches which we all so miss dearly, attention turns to the usual Summer hankering.
