Chambers keen to gain revenge on Chargers

Kansas City Chiefs' wide receiver Chris Chambers says he is confident of getting one over on former team the San Diego Chargers this Sunday.

Chambers is 10/1 with Stan James to be the first touchdown scorer having been in impressive form since beginning released by the Chargers on November 2.

He has was on the end of two touchdown passes in his first game before playing a huge role in last weekend's shock overtime victory against the Pittsburgh Steelers, making 119 yards against last season's Superbowl winners.

Chambers will have to be in spectacular form again when he travels back to San Diego (1/8 to win on the money line with Stan James) with his former club and AFC West rivals on a six game unbeaten run, stretching back to 37-7 rout over the Chiefs on October 25.

Having picked up a very comfortable victory against divisional rivals the Denver Broncos last weekend the Chargers are bound to be very confident of victory against the hit and miss Chiefs.

However, Chambers says he has a point to prove and believes his team have enough quality to overcome their high-flying opponents.

"Well, I have a chip on my shoulder just from leaving there, to tell you the truth," he said. "But I'm going to just go out and play the best possible game I can, and hopefully make some plays."

"Everybody knows what everybody's capable of right now. It just comes down to us executing and stopping those guys. They have some outstanding football players and they're on a great run right now. Once that team builds confidence and momentum, they're pretty hard to stop."
