Ravens dreaming of play-off spot
Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh believes his side are capable of snatching a play-off spot ahead of divisional rivals the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The two AFC North sides clash this Sunday at the M&T Bank Stadium with the Ravens (10/1 to win AFC North with Stan James) and the Steelers (9/4) still hot on the heels of the Cincinnati Bengals.
Both sides suffered narrow defeats last week, the Steelers in overtime against the Kansas City Chiefs and the Ravens by two points to the Indianapolis Colts (10/3 to win the Superbowl with Stan James), meaning a victory this week could be vital.
While Pittsburgh have been boosted by the news that star quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will be fit after suffering a concussion last week Harbaugh has been trying to keep Baltimore's hopes alive by stating he believes they can achieve a play-off spot.
"We know we're a good football team. I guarantee the people that play us know the kind of football team we are," said Harbaugh.
"The difference is finding out a way to win those games.
"That's our challenge against good football teams. That's what you have to do to be an elite football team in this league, and that's what we're striving for. I know we're going to be that. It's a matter of when, and we need to make it happen this week."
Having lost three times to the Steelers last season the Ravens will be keen to gain a measure of revenge, especially as the two sides meet again five weeks later.
