Rees eyes career kick start

Gavin Rees (5/2 joint favourite with Stan James to win Prizefighter) believes victory in the latest Prizefighter series on December 4 can help get his boxing career back on track.
The former WBA light-welterweight champion has only had one fight since losing his title to Andreas Kotelnik back in March 2008.
Welshman Rees will now take part in the latest Prizefighter event hoping that aid his chances of winning back the belt he won in 2007 - when he defeated Souleymane M'Baye.
The 29-year-old told the BBC: "It's three rounds so it's all guns blazing in there but that is my style anyway. I believe I'm the most talented boxer on the bill and I'm confident of victory."
Rees will join seven other fighters - Barrie Jones, Jason Cook, Ted Bami, Colin Lynes, David Barnes, Young Mutley and Michael Grant - at Olympia's National Hall in London.
Congolese fighter Bami is Rees' quarter-final opponent and is 7/4 to win the fight. The 31-year-old claiming 26 wins in 30 career fights, including 13 by KO.
