England call for Tredwell amid Swann worries

Fears over Graeme Swann's fitness have prompted England (14/5 win the First Test with Stan James) to draft in Kent off-spinner James Tredwell to their squad for the Test series against South Africa (5/4), which begins at Centurion on Wednesday.
The 27-year-old comes in as cover for Swann, who continues to be hampered by a side injury ahead of the eagerly-anticipated First Test this week.
Head coach Andy Flower hopes Swann will be fit to play at Centurion but has decided to call on Tredwell just in case the Nottinghamshire man (England 3/1, SA 8/13, the draw 7/2 in the Series Betting market) begins to struggle with the problem later in the tour.
Flower said: "Graeme's injury is improving and we expect him to be available for the first Test match.
"But with a further three matches to come after Centurion we have decided that we need a 'like-for-like' replacement on hand for Graeme should this be required later in the tour."
Swann impressed against a South Africa Invitational XI last week in England's final warm-up match, taking 6-55 and hitting an unbeaten 39 from 43 balls while Tredwell took 69 wickets in last season's County Championship.
